‘These Crimes are So Horrific’

It’s hard to believe that such a horrifying, forced organ harvesting from living people, is happening, says Dr. Alejandro Centurion, who helped start a petition calling on the White House to publicly condemn the actions of the Chinese Communist Party.
Early on in 2006, when the crimes first began coming too late, a wife of a transplant surgeon in China came forward and said her husband had helped harvest thousands of corneas from living prisoners of conscience, principally practitioners of the spiritual practice Falun Gong.
“There has been a lot of evidence, a lot of very compelling evidence that’s come out since 2006, which has convinced me, and also many other medical professinoals, that these crimes are taking place,” said Dr. Centurion.
It is known that people who go to China to get organs for transplants can get them in weeks or even days, while in other countries it typically takes years to get organs, if one can get them at all (long waiting lists).
