Canadian Chinese Couple had Their Storefront Home Unlawfully Invaded and Occupied
Canadian Chinese Couple had their storefront home unlawfully invaded and occupied in beautiful Dongdao, Hailingdao, Yangjiang, GuangDong, PRC.
On 23 June 2015, the landlord Mr. Wong Chong Wah of Yangjiang Old People’s Home used gangster like tactics of invasion and occupation of the couple’s storefront home. His aim is to force the couple out and to take over the place for free. Today as of 1 August 2015 is the 40 day of the unlawful occupation.
The invaders broke in and took down 6 big glass windows and 2 big glass front entrance doors threatening the couple’s lives and properties.
This is a criminal crime but the corrupted local police et al turned a blind eye excusing this as a civil matter. Leaving the couple fend for themselves.
The couple’s lives and properties are being under constant threat without the windows and doors. Disturbing and taking away their lawful right to peaceful use of their property with accumulated business losses.
The couple was informed that about 10 days ago, Mr. Wong told his men if we don’t move out he wants them to kill us.
We had appealed to many government agencies, such as the Hailing District Committee, Yangjiang Police Department, CCDI of Guangdong Province and National People’s Committee to no avail.
