Shocking Discovery: Noah’s Ark Found!
Located 6,375 feet above sea level.
Why is this not a BIG story?
I'm often amazed at our lack of knowledge about history. Ordinary people are hungry for this information, yet the organizations responsible to disseminate these facts seem to have an agenda to keep us in the dark. This is especially true when it comes to our ancient human history.
I won't hold you in suspense with this article: The Ark of Noah has been found. It's real. I'll describe the evidence in some detail and end with the historical and religious implications.
How it was discovered
In 1959, Turkish army captain Llhan Durupinar discovered an unusual shape while examining aerial photographs of his country. The smooth shape, larger than a football field, stood out from the rough and rocky terrain at an altitude of 6,300 feet near the Turkish border with Iran.
Capt. Durupinar was familiar with the biblical accounts of the Ark and its association with Mount Ararat in Turkey, but he was reluctant to jump to any conclusions. The region was very remote, yet it was inhabited with small villages. No previous reports of an object this odd had been made before. So he forwarded the photographic negative to a famous aerial photography expert named Dr. Brandenburger, at Ohio State University.
Brandenburger was responsible for discovering the Cuban missile bases during the Kennedy era from reconnaissance photos, and after carefully studying the photo, he concluded: "I have no doubt at all, that this object is a ship. In my entire career, I have never seen an object like this on a stereo photo."
In 1960 the picture [above] was published in LIFE magazine under the heading of Noahs Ark? That same year a group of Americans accompanied Capt. Durupinar to the site for a day and a half. They were expecting to find artifacts on the surface or something that would be unquestionably related to a ship of some kind. They did some digging in the area but found nothing conclusive and announced to the anxiously waiting world that it appeared to be a natural formation.
Most of the global media turned away from the find and it became a non-story.
In 1977 Ron Wyatt visited the site. Obtaining official permission, Ron and others conducted more thorough research over a period of several years. They used metal detection surveys, subsurface radar scans, and chemical analysis — real science — and their findings were startling. The evidence was undeniable. This was the Ark of Noah.
#1 — the Visual Evidence
The first part of the survey was to examine the object and take its measurements. The shape looked like hull of a ship. One end was pointed as you would expect from bow [below: D] and the opposite end was blunt like a stern. The distance from bow to stern was 515 feet, or exactly 300 Egyptian cubits. The average width was 50 cubits. These were the exact measurements mentioned in the Bible.
On the starboard side (right) near the stern there were four vertical bulges protruding from the mud [B], at regular intervals, that were determined to be the "ribs" of the hull [see below]. Opposite to these, on the port side, a single rib [A] protrudes from the mud. You can see its curved shape very clearly. Surrounding it are more ribs, still largely buried in the mud, but visible upon close examination.
Remember that this object, if it is the Ark, is extremely old. The wood has been petrified. Organic matter has been replaced by minerals from the earth. Only the shapes and traces of the original wood remain. Perhaps this is why the expedition in 1960 was disappointed. They anticipated finding and retrieving chucks of wood, long since eroded.
From the position of the object in the middle of an obvious mudflow, it is obvious that the object slid down more than a mile from its original location. Geologists believe it was originally over 1000 feet higher in the mountain and encased in a shell of hardened mud. They think that an earthquake in 1948 cracked the mud shell and revealed the structure. This is confirmed by stories from the surrounding vallagers who tell of its "sudden appearance" around that time.
Biblical accounts of the Ark describe it as having as many as six levels. The assumed shape of the Ark seems consistent with the bulge [C] in the middle of the object. In fact, as we will soon learn, radar scans of the structure suggest that this bulge is the collapsed debris of these levels.
Although most people think of the Ark as being rectangular, that only applies to the top decks. The sleek shape of the hull is necessary to enable the huge ship to remain stable in the water and survive tremendous waves.

According to some sites this is the direction of the flow down the mountain. So I made up a image from google earth showing the direction this may have taken. This mountain is called "Walls of Heaven". The landing point at the top has had some significant ancient evidence found. #2 — Ground Penetrating Radar
The human eye needs to see reflected light to recognize an object. To visualize what remains below the earth, scientists use microwaves which can penetrate the ground and bounce back when they hit something solid. This technique is commonly used to locate oil and other minerals. Called Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), the apparatus us made from an antenna that transmits, then listens to receive the "echo" and prints the result on a piece of paper. The delay and strength of this echo tell the geologists how solid and at what depth the objects are under the earth.
The team of geologists didn't scan the entire object. Instead, they marked out lines that crossed the object with yellow tape. Then they dragged the antenna (about the size of a lawnmower) over the lines and watched the output on the paper recorder. When they got a strong "hit" — meaning there was something solid underneath — they would record the position on the tape [above]. Later, when they made a map of the object, the tape and the location of the "hits" they realized that there was indeed a structure underneath the mud.

The radar cans revealed this structure [above] under the mud. The symmetry and logical placement of these objects shows that this is unmistakably a man made structure, most likely the Ark of Noah.
#3 — Artifacts retrieved from the Ark
Using the GPR, Ron Wyatt discovered an open cavity on the starboard side. He used an improvised drill to make core sample inside this cavity and retrieved several very interesting objects. Below you can see the artifacts which were sent for laboratory analysis. On the left is the bore hole [see below], followed by what turned out to be petrified animal dung, then a petrified antler and lastly a piece of cat hair.

Perhaps the most significant find from the Ark itself is a piece of petrified wood. When this was first found it appeared to be a large beam. But upon closer examination it is actually three pieces of plank that have been laminated together with some kind of organic glue! This is the same technology used in modern plywood. Lamination makes the total strength of the wood much greater than the combined strength of the pieces. This suggests a knowledge of construction far beyond anything we knew existed in the ancient world.
Tests by Galbraith Labs in Knoxville, Tennessee, showed the sample to contain over 0.7% organic carbon, consistent with fossilized wood. The specimen was once living matter.
Examination reveals the glue oozed from the layers. The outside of the wood appears to have been coated with bitumen.
Even more surprising were laboratory analyses which not only revealed that the petrified wood contained carbon (proving it was once wood) but there were iron nails [above right] embedded in the wood!

"Gopher wood" is a misreading and scribal error. "Kopher" wood is correct and means wood (any wood) that is covered with Kopher. Kopher is bitumen. In the Genesis text (6:14), the context is clear. The GPR wood used, (a scribal error) is to be covered in KPR. G and K in Hebrew are so similar that inexperienced Hebrew "scholars," such as those translating the King James Version of the Bible, could have been prone to such errors, indeed, they made many such errors.We like to imagine that humanity evolved in a neat sequence of eras, each named after the technology that was discovered. We have the Stone Age (where man developed arrows and stone tools), the Bronze Age (where metals were combined and heated to make tools and household items) and lastly the Iron Age (where iron and steel objects were made by heating iron ore and adding other material — like charcoal — to strengthen it). The Iron Age is usually placed at 1200-1000 BC, yet we have iron nails being used in this extremely old construction
But wait… there's more!
The most surprising find was discovered with sensitive metal detectors. The team located several strong "hits" that, when dug up, revealed large disc shaped rivets. From simple observation of the metal it was possible to see where the rivet had been hammered after being inserted through a hole [below].
If rivets being used in ancient construction doesn't impress you, this surely will.
An analysis of the metal used to make the rivets revealed that they were a combination of iron (8.38%), aluminum (8.35%) and titanium (1.59%). Remember these trace metals have survived petrification and so do not indicate the exact content in the original material. (see Report from Galbraith Labs)
We know the aluminum was incorporated in the metallic mixture because it does not exist in metallic form in nature. This implies an extremely advanced knowledge of metallurgy and engineering. Characteristics of an iron-aluminum alloy have been investigated in The Russian Chemical Bulletin (2005) and reveal that this alloy forms a thin film of aluminum oxide which protects the material from rust and corrosion. The addition of titanium would provide added strength. This seems to have worked. The rivets have survived from antiquity!
So why is it shocking? Jesus proved Himself over and over and over again. Had it recorded in the Holy Bible which is the most printed book of all time in all languages. He walked on water, healed the sick and raised the dead. Foretold His own life and death thousands of years before it happened, with great detail. So why on earth is it shocking to discover the remnants of Noah’s Ark? As if the Bible needs to proven with artifacts, Duh!

Without the ark built by Noah, none of the posters below that are ridiculing the ark, would be alive to ridicule it. That ark saved the lives eight people — Noah and his wife, and their three sons and their wives. After the flood waters deluged the earth, those eight human beings were the only human beings left alive on earth, and all future generations of Homo sapiens descended from them.
The reason is it shocking is that God intended for none of his creations to be found. He wanted it to be hidden so that we would choose the believe in him based on the sole fact because we CHOOSED. Not because we were convinced. The fact that we know find mroe and more evidence of his existence just shows that he is making it to our knowledge so we know that he is coming. The end is near, and it does say in the Bible that more and more things will be found, will be happening, and more freedoms will come into play. Look at the world!!! The story of Noah’s ark is common to indigenous people worldwide. The Sioux knew the story, before contact with Europeans. The date is 30,000 years ago, not 3000. Although God is very real for this commentator, the Bible contains much plagiarism.

Religion is just a way to place the blame of good and bad. When humans don’t know something or is out of their grasp of understanding they need to make something up to make them feel better about why something happens. Very interesting news. But, if we are going to call is discovery, Noah’s Ark, we best go to the scriptures that specify its dimensions. Upon doing this we will have the Biblical dimensions of this ark. Noah’s ark as described in the text of the Genies scriptures, was not the shape of this Turkish site. The shape of the original ark was without bow or stern, without any bow or stern steering or navigating rutter, didn’t need any of this for navigating its course. Yes, Noah’s Ark was a gigantic chest, constructed in such a way from its length, width, and height, that it would not turn over, but rather remain upright. Noah’s Ark was a floating hallow chest, not in the form of so many paintings and illustrations as having the ark looking like a ship. Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel, have both done scientific tests using the chest-like biblical dimensions of Noah’s Ark to show how no matter what the size of the waves, the arks construction interacted with the waves much like a cork. So as exciting as this discovery is, by is represented dimensions, this is not Noah’s Ark.

If it’s not the ark then exactly what is it? Inasmuch as this may be old news to some I find it fascinating. I am not a geologist but I know it takes many millenia for wood to become petrified.
Now I may also not be the brightest bulb in the pack either but why would the ark have to be whole? It was a vessel for the safety and transport of man and beast and nothing more. When Noah and his family released the animals and came upon dry land the ark was not needed after that. God did not sanctify it. It was used for it’s purpose and then left to be reabsorbed back into the earth.
The simple FACT there are flood stories in virtually every religion and within the mythos of every race of people seems to indicate that at some time in the distant past there WAS some kind of global catastrophe.
Believe in God, don’t believe in God, the choice is yours and should be repected by others. When however, you start to belittle others because they don’t agree with you then you are wrong.

NOAH’S ARK – Verification of Alien Contact
The Great Flood and Noah’s Ark legend is common to the Christian, Jewish and Moslem religions. But as often occurs with religious beliefs, few have analyzed the Ark’s nautical restrictions. Instead, a common belief exists that it was a simple rectangular vessel built by a single man and his extended family. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Ark’s relic has been found (and re-found time and again) in the mountains of Ararat. Matching biblical parameters, it was 64% longer than any modern wooden vessel and had an (unloaded) displacement greater than that of a modern British aircraft carrier.
Government (Los Alamos) personal, once helpful with tests and measurements of it, no longer believe this relic to be Noah’s Ark. No wonder, it clearly shows that it was NOT built by humans ~5200 years ago. It offers details of alien engineering principles involving the Golden Ratio. Its metallurgy shows ironwork not even possible until ~3200 years ago as well as the presence of other metals (e.g. titanium and aluminum) that would have been difficult to fabricate even in the early twentieth century. The Book of Noah explicitly specifies that “angels” (with extensive metallurgical skills) built the Ark. They were likely the Nommos, an amphibian species reportedly from the Sirius star system. They left mankind with cuneiform writing and the wheeled vehicle (alien technology of that day). They offered us astronomical knowledge of their own and our solar system (including Vulcan) and evidence of a past major comet/meteorite Earth impact. Finally, they appear to have left repositories of technologies far more advanced than our own. Their story tells of an alien species’ attempt to save a deceitful mankind from an approaching comet impact catastrophe that caused Noah’s Great Flood. Apprehensively, they may have recently returned to again warn us of a similar impending impact event.

Noah’s Ark? Time to grow up people. If you think a dude thousands of years ago gathered up 2 of every animal on earth and put ‘em on a friggin’ boat, your concept of reality needs a do-over.
Acutally, Noah did not need to go out and gather all the animals 2 by 2. All the animals came to the ark by themselves. I know its hard to explain that, just like scientists have not been able to explain the migratory birds and the salmon. The migratory birds just up and fly when its time for their vacation (how to you explain that?). The salmon, no matter where they born, they always go back to lay their eggs and die!!!
God did not flood the entire earth — only the part inhabited by humans. Since the rest of the world was not flooded, creatures (such as kangaroos) living beyond the reach of the flood survived.
Funny thing you should mention that people’s “concept of reality needs a do-over”…in the 1930′s they DID do a reality do-over. In the 1920′s & 1930′s several major things got changed. 13 books of the old testament (but Jews did not change there’s) were removed, the words under God were added to our pledge of allegiance, alcohol was banned and once that failed within 2 years they banned marijuana. So you see for almost 2000 years reality stayed the same, and it has been an ongoing “do-over” for the past 80+ years………just some are not going to accept this warped reality……but please by all means you go ahead. It really is hard to determine what is fact and fiction when the AP nightly news can’t keep a story straight from one day to the next…..
Finding biblical items is important, but what’s more important is to have faith and believe that these things happened as told in the bible and to believe in God.

This IS NOT Noah’s Ark. In 300 AD having just been converted to Christianity Emperor Constantine commissioned “an Ark” to be built at the foot of Mount Ararat along the Silk road. THIS is that Ark.
This Ark is over fifteen miles away from Mount Ararat, and it is right on the Silk road. I know, I have been there and done the research on it, there.
Oh by the way, it can not be a cube. If it was a cube it would spin uncontrollably. Cubes are not stable in water.

Yeah, it would be shocking if it was true. That this is a royal hoax is in the shape of the Ark. Any historian/archeologist worth their salt should know, without any difficulty, that the vessel didn’t have a pointed front or rear. The Ark was rectangular in shape. Whoever came up with the shape being shown didn’t get that shape from the Bible, if they would actually read it.
All previous sightings on the mountain in Turkey as far back as WWI didn’t even indicate this location OR pointed shape. Whatever happen to that evidence and the eyewitness reports in those instances? Likely they were scrapped for a more “convenient truth”, acceptable to the fable ridden masses. After all, the pointy ended boat is what has been taught by feeble minded teachers and institutions like the churches who’ve not had a clue what the Bible really teaches, from the beginning. So why would anyone expect these so called authorities to get this right.
Could this “find” be a vessel of some kind? Sure it could, but it isn’t the Ark. What these searchers need to do is to redirect their efforts back upon the much older evidence and work with the Turkish government to do some real and thorough research and hunting for the real Ark instead of wasting their time and money on this garbage.
Sorry if this sounds like a downer but the “authorities” in this area are the same ones (collectively)who still have Jesus being impaled on a “cross” instead of an upright stake as the Scriptures have always indicated or that Jesus was born on December 25th or any other of the numerous errors that are purported as the “truth”.
Here’s a really good lie that has been passed down by the “authorities”. When Moses parted the Red Sea (which they also doubt happened how and in the time limit indicated in the Bible), the Scriptures tell that Pharaoh died when the Sea closed back over him and his army. The “authorities” state that he didn’t die at all. Even Egyptian archeologists get this wrong, showing what is supposed to be the Pharaoh who chased Moses, that is, Pharaoh’s mummified remains.
It’s beyond the ability for people to question the “authorities” in matters like this. The “authorities” have done a thorough job in molding the minds of the masses to their every whim, about details of all kinds. Is it any wonder the masses are so ignorant of what is the truth and what isn’t these days, when their brains have been so filled up with such utter garbage???
Re. the Ark’s shape. It was never described in the Bible as “pointy ended”, which some here seem to think. Read Genesis ch7 v15. The structure is given dimensions, but its shape is not defined.
This may or may not be Noah’s ark, in fact I have seen YouTube video of a Japanese expedition that found what seemed to be a better candidate; they even got inside it. I think it had emerged from a glacier in the same region. But perhaps that was the one made by Constantine, which I had never heard about before. “No es Loco” tells us that the real Ark does exist,”not far from the Ahora Gorge”, but then goes all shy. Spill the beans, dude! London mystic thinks that this discovery is…I won’t repeat all his synonyms, but I cannot find any evidence that anyone is anything other than excited and intrigued by this find. Someone else thinks that the Bible contains much plagiarism. One piece of proof please? It is the other way around, the Bible is source material, which others may well have modified and added to their own creations, eg Mohammed and the Q’uran. Sten should remember that “The fool has said in his heart, there is no God”.
Anon’s brief comment was good, ie how did the marsupials get to Australia if they originally emerged from the Ark? And why aren’t they anywhere else in the world ? There are questions we do not have answers for, but rest assured, there are answers, and they will amaze us all when we find out.
If that sounds a trifle facile, think on this. If you read “The Other Bible Code” website, by Vernon Marshall, he reveals the astonishing and perfect three-dimensional mathematics which underlies the Word of God. This is invisible unless you look for it, but it is there, and it is throughout every verse in the Bible, like a watermark, in all 66 books. This simply cannot be explained except in this way; that holy men of old wrote as they were moved by the Spirit of God, and not by their own imaginations.

For those who are interested, Noah’s Ark was not actually an Ark at all. There was a natural dissater in Russia several millennia earlier that may have resulted in ‘en masse’ human transportation. No evidence of transportation or casualties has been found.
But back to Noah, his was an account of the first temple structure of its type. It was a wooden construction with and air light above an “ever burning” fire. Many different compatments or “rooms” were for the numerous animals used for ritual sacrafice. Oh yeah, Noah sure “saved” them animals.

Whoever wrote this article seems to lack a 7th grade understanding of chemistry, since first of all, aluminum and iron don’t alloy. Aluminum would be a poor material for fasteners, and aluminum can not be smelted from rock. The modern method of producing aluminum requires huge amounts of electricity and complex chemical reactions. The method wasn’t even invented till 1886. There was also no iron smelting technology around at the time Noah would have lived, which was the early bronze age. It’s also technically impossible to build wooden boats this size. At the pinnacle of wooden shipbuilding technology in the late 19th century, it was not possible to build wooden ships approaching 400 feet that would work reliably, even with massive iron bracing, they flexed too much and leaked. We’re supposed to believe a nomadic bronze age herder and his three sons with no shipbuilding experienced managed to build a ship bigger than any wooden ship of modern times with hand tools and no shipyard? And that this ark somehow held all the millions of species of animals for a year, along with enough food as well? What did they eat when they landed, since the Earth would have been completely barren of all life? After a year under water, all plants and seeds would have been destroyed. This is all academic, because there isn’t nearly enough water on or in the Earth to create a flood that would cover the whole world. If there was such a “flood”, it would never recede, and the Earth would remain a water planet.
The whole ark myth is completely implausible from any scientific standpoint, and intelligent Christians know it…which is why some of them have to come up with elaborate provisos to make the story work. Clearly it says (in any version) the three sons of Noah boarded the ark with their wives. So, that seeing his father naked doesn´t mean he had sex with his mother.
