How many people on this site deserve to be saved?
Ask yourself the question. Can I be saved?
If it produces a desire in your heart to do so there is still hope.
We need to absorb the gospel message of love and try to implement it.
If we do that we will see the power of God in our lives, which is a constant and only hidden from us when we sin, but it is still there even if we do not see it, working for our fulfillmernt, working for our growth in spirit, working to infuse us with his love, working to flood our being with so much blessing and life that we would be amazed and truly humbled if we could see it and appreciate it. But all of the above is conditional only, and I must emphasize only, on our free will … whether we decide to allow it to take place. That is the only thing stopping our fulfilment in the Lord and given every grace and blessing and power and life and the resultant joy and happiness that this produces.
The kingdom of God, ie.love is within us all. It may only be a small flicker but if we go to bed at night having striven a little more towards it, it will grow. That I promise you.
If we sin we needn’t fear because of this. Our failure invites Christ more tenderly, when this is a result of weakness, or fear or lack of courage even. Use this fall to seek the Lord more, with contrition and resolve to do better. If we do this we will suceed in the end. No matter how long the road, Christ will not abandon us to it.
