Blood Moon is when the moon turns blood red and usually its a sign of heavens giving a message to the christians.  dates when blood moons suppose to happen April 15,2014 , Oct. 8,2014 ,April 4, 2015, and Sept. 28, 2015. All of these moons phases mean something usually a sign from God.  The Blood moons are mentioned in the Bible so I would do a little Bible study First to get an idea what a blood moon is.
