Blood Moon Nonsense.. An Earthquake Turns The Moon Red!

(Before It's News)

Any Bible reader knows the Moon turns RED before the Day of the Lord and the Sun does NOT Give it’s light. Seems everyone is jumping on the Blood Moon bandwagon and trying to link it with the Shemitah. I suggest digging a little deeper..

Well before “Revelation” was written, existed the Dead Sea Scrolls.
It’s said the Dead sea scrolls date between 150 BCE and 70 BC.

In the Essene Book of Revelation, we find this “Red Moon” event with a little more description.  It reads:

And the fourth angel sounded,
And there was a great earthquake
And the sun became as black as sackcloth of hair,
And the moon became as blood.”

According to this text, the Dark Sun and Red Moon occur because of a “Great Earthquake”, not from an eclipse.

You can read the full text here- http://reluctant-messenger.com/essene/revelation.htm  and one can also draw many parallels to the official version of Revelation and dig a little deeper.

Earthquakes can’t make the moon go red. Lots of particles in the atmosphere could though, via eg, a volcanic eruption. It would only produce a localised effect, not a global phenomena. The bible sates ‘the sun will not give out it’s light and the moon will become as blood’. That cannot happen, if the sun doesn’t give out it’s light, the moon would be completely black and invisible, because the moon has no light of it’s own, but reflects the light of the sun.

So much for the infallible word of an ignorant deity.
