Born again believers are the true Israel of God, this represents all that faithfully follow Christ in Spirit and in Truth. Gal 6:15-16 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
This blessing was to Abraham, not modern day Israel! Mathew speaks of the generations that start with Abraham, continue through David and end with Christ. The blessings of Abraham come on all that have faith through Christ. The reason for this is that the promises were made to Abraham and his seed, which is Christ (Gal 3:14-16).
Keep in mind that neither Abraham, Isaac, Jacob nor his sons were of the tribe of Judah; so they were not jewish, nor did they practice judaism. Furthermore even If those in Modern day Israel could prove a lineage from Jacob’s son Judah, which is highly unlikely, apart from Faith in Christ and adherence to His New Law, there is no blessing.
In Christ there is no difference between the Judeans or the Greeks, the important thing is to recognize that Born again believers are the true Israel of God, and are therefore members of the body of Christ. All who are truly transformed by Christ are Sealed with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and truly are the Israel of God.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
The Word of God was first spoken to the people in Judaea, and unto the tribe of Judah. The vast majority of these people however, were of a deceptive and self righteous denomination or sect that rejected not only the Word of Christ, but the words of all the prophets before Christ as well.
As a result of judging themselves as unworthy of salvation their house was declared desolate. Because of the fact that Born again believers are the true Israel of God, they can understand the gospel of Christ, and are called the chosen and faithful of God (Acts 13:26-50; Eph 1:1-14).
The desolation declared upon their house (of which tribe Christ came out of) was not just a temporary judgment. It was a perpetual spiritual condition that would last until Christ himself returned to bring everlasting righteousness, and remove those things that offend. All will bow to Christ when He returns to judge the world and to reign as King of Kings at the end of this age. Because Born again believers are the true Israel of God, they readily observe and understand this deception that runs wild not only in Judaism, but in the churches that the Great Whore has infiltrated (Dan 9:24-27; Isa 1:21-27; Luke 13:35; Isa 45:21-23; Rom 14:11; Phl 2:10-11; 2 Tim 4:1).
Jesus proclaimed,” Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you murder the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you…Behold your house is now desolate (Math 23:37-38). Christ’s house was one of prayer, but these religious leaders had turned it into a den of thieves (Math 21:13).
The very same thing occurs in many so-called Christian churches today. Christianity has become a multi billion dollar industry that peddles cheap salvation and other deceptive doctrines that lead many to hell.
Isaiah 1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
Because of the fact that Born again believers are the true Israel of God, they understand that it is only through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that they can truly perceive of, or enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3).
