The Old Testament Law – It Is finished
The Old Testament Law which is obsolete, has been replaced by the New Testament Covenant. As a result of the death and resurrection of Christ, true Spirit filled believers understand that they are not under the Old Testament Law. This article will help the reader to understand the new Law of Christ.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
The Old Testament law is fulfilled as they come to pass in the New Testament revelations.
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
The Old Testament Law of Moses, written on tablets of stone, was given unto Israel after the flesh. These people continuously rejected God the Father and served many strange gods, only a remnant sought Jehovah through faith.
Jer 31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
The second covenant was the Law of Christ written in the hearts of men, Israel after the Spirit.
This passage refers to the whole house of Israel. All of mankind can now believe in Christ and serve Him in newness of Spirit through faith, hope and love. Everyone that trusts in the cross of Christ is counted as the Israel of God.
Isa 51:7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart [is] my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of them.
Isaiah prophesized of the true followers of God; this people would know the new law of Christ and it would be in their hearts and minds. Following the New Testament law of Jesus instead of the Old Testament Law of men, would enable them to one day receive redemption at the second coming.
Isaiah 51:11Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
This is the second gathering of the true Israel, the church that Christ bought; it also is a future prophecy awaiting the return of Jesus as King of Kings. Modern day Israel is a man made gathering of a people that for the most part despise Jesus. The second gathering of God’s Israel is a spiritual event dealing with a redeemed people; the word redeemed refers to our salvation when we are transformed at Christ’s second coming.

The TORAH is COMPLETE, it is the whole of God’s instructions for HIS people
When Christ tells His disciples to live by every WORD of GOD He did not specify — but only the pages in the Torah I tell you are still in effect.
The problem with the first contract; the people refused to live up to their contract obligations.
The problem was not the Law — it was the people. Why change the Law if the problem is the people, what good is that? If the tire is flat — why change the oil?? Same logic.
Under the New contract God is giving HIS Chosen People the nature to want to obey the Torah.
Why was the Law given to Abraham then to Moses only to have Christ remove it and then when Christ returns Christ rules the entire world by the TORAH????

The contract duty of the people is to obey the Law now filled to spiritual as well as physical. This is found in Leviticus 26: 1- 3.
the promises of God as found in Leviticus 26: 4 – 13 are all physical, good crops and protection from their enemies etc. no forgiveness no eternal life.
The changes to the promises: are forgiveness of sin by the sacrifice of Christ: the free gift of eternal life AND the gift of the Spirit of the Father which imparts to us a changed nature so WE CAN OBEY THE HOLY LAW.

Some churches preach to this day that Jesus abolished the Ten Commandments when He died on the cross. They proclaim this assumption by using Ephesians 2:15 as their basis of evidence, which says. “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;…” The obvious truth here is, that the verse states that it was the Commandments contained in ORDINANCES that was abolished at the cross. Not the Ten Commandments contained in stone. The passage in Colossians 2:14-17 has also been used to preach the Commandments abolished. But if you read it you will find it was, “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances”, again that is mentioned in that passage. According to the Word of God, these ordinances were “added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made” (Galatians 3:19) It’s rather clear to see here that the “commandments contained in ordinances” were added by Moses for a specific reason. If we read the passage again we see it also states these ordinances were only added TILL the seed should come. And who was this seed according to Scripture? Galatians 3:16 boldly proclaims, “thy seed, which is Christ.”
The commandments contained in ordinances were added by Moses thousands of years ago as a way to prepare the people for the FIRST arrival of Messiah. They showed their faith in the coming Messiah by keeping the ordinances on a regular basis. When Jesus died on the cross, the ordinances were no longer needed because he fulfilled them by all He did while visiting us as Messiah. So, what are these ordinances? In Colossians 2:14-17 it says… “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”
Right off we see the “ordinances” were a series holy days, new moons, and Sabbath days that were to be considered a “shadow of things to come.” The word “ordinance” is NOT the same as the word “commandment.”

The Torah is the 5 Books written by Moses while He was on the mountain with God for 40 days and 40 nights and this Book is so HOLY to God He had Moses put the Torah inside the ARK of the Covenant that same ARK in which the two tables of stone on which are written the 10 Commandments by the finger of God are kept.
And then are you aware that the ARK of the Covenant is placed under the Mercy Seat which is the Throne of God and the Throne of God is in the HOLY of HOLIES within HIS Temple AND the earthly HOLY OF HOLIES is the physical copy of God the Father’s Throne in the third heaven?
And you are teaching that God — HAS CHANGED —and what was extremely HOLY to God — God has pitched away and must then be considered no longer HOLY.
If God can change do you not think He may change the plan when it comes to YOUR SALVATION? IF God can remove the law, God can remove your salvation. I thank my Father He can not CHANGE.
