About this week’s guest list
Nelson is the generic Evangelical baby-boomer. Born in 1946, he was raised in a Christian family.
In 1967 he was president of campus chapter of IVCF and attended Urbana. In 1976 he was city co-chairman of the Here’s Life America Campaign in Danbury, Connecticut. He was a founding elder at Walnut Hill Community Church (WHCC) in Bethel, CT in 1982 now with 2500 attending.
In 1998 Nelson founded the Finishers Project as a national ministry. The initial launch was in the form of Finishers Forums. Soon after a web presence was created as a matching tool for people to a place in missions. Finishers Project is now one ministry under the new corporate umbrella,MissionNext. Nelson is now working with leaders in other nations to expand the reach of the MissionNext movement internationally.
Robert Werntz
He and his wife Joyce love connecting those who are called to go with those who are called to send. Robert is ordained with the Evangelical Free Church of America, and both are prayer warriors who understand that any fruit from their efforts come from the Lord. Robert is currently President/CEO, MissionNext, Inc
They are blessed to live in northern Illinois, near their three sons and six granddaughters.
