It is the Comforter that Christ sent that teaches us all things, and prevents us from following the deceptive doctrines of men.
Far too many confuse the tingling sensation they experience from an entertaining well orchestrated cinematic like production, at a building called the church, with that of the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
False teachers in the Christian Church do usually present some truth in their sermons, but even a broken timepiece is correct a couple of times each day.
So much of the great deception within Christianity is the result of messages presented that are based upon biased interpretations, by imposters that have an appearance of Godliness.
The self-righteous and hypocritical doctrines given by these imposters should prove that they deny the true power of Christ. However many simple want a messenger that will allow them to be comfortable in their sin; these simply wish to be lulled to sleep (2 Tim 3:1-9, 2 Tim 4:3).
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
False pretenses may be a statutory offense in a court of law, but when dealing with matters of spirituality they are quite deadly in their consequences (Rom 6;16-23, Rom 8:2, 2 Cor 1:9).
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
If Christ’s Spirit does not dwell within you, then you are not one of His. Great deception within Christianity is achieved when it is widely held that to be filled with the Spirit, is an automatic occurrence when one claims to believe in Jesus, and partakes in water Baptism.
The great deception within Christianity is accomplished at the hands of the false teachers in the Christian Church that only regard the things of the flesh. They are in fact blind to the truth and purpose of this life, and are without the Spirit of Christ.
As a result of their guidance as it were, great deception within Christianity occurs, as the multitudes that they teach also have a focus on material things and selfish desires. These people represent the word sown amongst the thorns; they have created a god that accepts their self righteousness and worldly pursuits. Their god rewards them with health, wealth and prosperity. (Mat 6:18-28, Luke 6: 20-26).
2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
The prophecies of the scripture are of no private interpretation. No individual or group has control over, or final authority on the correct understanding of what is written in the Word of God.
This task is reserved for the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things.
Great deception within Christianity occurs because many people hold up false teachers in their Church to a god like level, convinced that they alone are empowered with the truth and understanding of scripture.
Matt 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Seduction is a favorite tool of the false teachers in the Church, who are professional manipulators. They use their voice, stance, confidence and image to grab the attention of a crowd and keep it. With almost a magical charm they can allure or captivate the audience with a hypnotic like manipulation of the truth.
2 Tim 2:15-16 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
It is easy to masquerade using a disguising pretense, and thus cloak or hide a self-serving agenda, under the pretext of operating as the servant or spokesperson of God (2 Cor 11:14).
Great deception within Christianity is obvious when an audience receives the doctrines of devils and is left feeling comfortable and at ease. The end result of this charade is more revenue for these wolves in sheep’s clothing, and a deeper spirit of slumber and apathy for the listening audience
1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
The Christian believer must rely on the Holy Spirit to uncover or reveal Christ’s testimony, as His truth is spiritually discerned.
Far too many have a false sense of reality and eternal security as a result of the great deception within Christianity, revealed through the deceptive teachings of men that are devoid of the Spirit of Truth.
These charlatans, who are only interested in worldly pursuits, prevent their followers from growing in the Lord and having a true relationship with Him.
2 Cor 4:3-4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The false teachers in the Christian church deny the Lord Jesus by reason of their damnable heresies, and bring upon themselves and their blind followers swift destruction (2 Peter 2:1, John 16:7, Luke 6:39).
In the lists below we will examine the great deception within Christianity by exposing many false teachings that are extremely popular.
The New Law of Christ is found in Mathew chapter twenty two. The false teachers however, attempt to keep people under the bondage of Old Testament Laws that were given to Moses. This law was for the Hebrews, whereas Christ’s law is for all of mankind.
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).
Two of the origins of the great deception within Christianity, are as a result of the false claims that the Sabbath and tithing are still in effect. These lies are necessary for the continual multi-million dollar plunder of the masses.
Christ never commanded His New Testament followers to keep the Sabbath, or to Tithe.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
The manifestation of Jesus to the Elect is the infilling of the Holy Spirit that enables them to fully comprehend His grace, love and new law (1 Peter 1:2, John 16:7).
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
A great deception within Christianity is in ignoring the prophets. Isaiah prophesized of the true followers of God; this people would know the new law of Christ, and it would be in their hearts and minds (Jer 31:33).
Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Jesus Christ has brought forth the good or new wine which is the new covenant, last. The first wine which was the old covenant was not nearly as good. Also the first was fulfilled or completed in him on the Cross, and has vanished.
John 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
The faithless religious leaders at the first advent of Christ did not keep the Old Testament law. After Christ it would be impossible to claim righteousness by the law (Mat 16: 6-12).
To blatantly disregard the New Testament law of Jesus, or to try and mix the old with the new, is a great deception within Christianity ( Isa 51:6-7, Mark 2:21-22 ).
Rom 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect
Man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. No man shall be justified by the works of the law (Gal 2:16). To claim righteousness through the attempt to keep the old law, is indeed a great deception within Christianity.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Righteousness comes through Christ’s victory over sin at the cross. To make the claim of righteousness through the Old Testament Law is sin and deceit. By the works of the law there shall no flesh be justified (Rom 3:20).

John 10:11-12 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
There is only one verse in all of the New Testament where the word shepherd, is translated as pastors (Eph 4:11).
A careful study of the original Greek words oftentimes reveals hidden truths.
Indeed, (God) gave some to be apostles, and prophets, and evangelists, and a Shepherd (who is) also (our) teacher Eph 4:11 KJV (emphasis added)
This subtle yet deceptive change also represents a great deception within Christianity. To insert the word pastor in place of shepherd, creates a deadly precedence. This sets up albeit falsely, the justification for a hierarchy, allowing certain men to have authority over others.
Christ is the only true Shepherd and there is none other.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
Christ made himself of no reputation, and became a servant to many (Phil 2:7).
We are not to exalt mere mortal men, who are but sinners. Is this not a great deception within Christianity? Religions are drunk with spiritual idolatry, below is a short list of them.
Calling men father, rabbi or pastor, is forbidden, and yet three major religions use these titles for their leaders (Mat 23:8-10, Eph 4:11).
If there was to be a hierarchy in the church apart from Christ, He would have mentioned it at least once. Furthermore, anyone claiming to be a teacher ordained of God must be baptized by the Spirit of God, otherwise what they teach is just a biased opinion.
Christ is the head of His Church, all men are equal, and no man has any spiritual authority over another (Eph 4:4-15).
The body of Christ is to be as one body, with one mind and one Spirit, even though there are many members. (Rom 15:6; Gal 3:28-29, Phl 1:27).
Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Matt 20:25-26 Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister
Jesus makes it pretty clear there was to be no hierarchy. We are called to minister and serve each other, not serve ourselves.

Christianity, through her many false teachers and deceptive doctrines has become just another religion to many of its followers. An incredible great deception within Christianity must include the Christian Salvation deception.
The gift of becoming Born Again is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and it does not automatically occur just because one claims to believe on the name of Christ.
A great deception within Christianity is to be misled and deceived into thinking that you are Saved, and Born Again, without ever experiencing true fellowship with Jesus Christ.
2 Tim 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
To stay under a teacher never graduating and partaking in the ministry is also a great deception within Christianity. We must be taught of the Holy Spirit, and then receive the power to rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Tim 2:15).
Our assurance of Salvation and understanding of the Truth, are only possible through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Walking with Christ through the spirit and taking up your cross, involves more than simply knowledge of Him. Jesus requires a personal relationship with His children, and this is only accomplished when His Spirit resides within us.
Actions speak louder than words, and so many that claim to know Jesus, deny him by their self centered and materialistic lives. So many are blinded by the lusts of the flesh, and fail to see the illusions all around them. To love this present evil world represents a grand illusion.
1 John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
The doctrine of baptism is a mystery to most, but it is very simple to understand, if you have the spirit of discernment. All believers who are baptized in the Holy Spirit have this gift of discernment.
Luke 3:16-17 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
Jesus Christ did not perform water baptism unto repentance, but rather the baptism of the Holy Spirit unto salvation.
He that believes and is baptized (by the Holy Spirit) shall be saved (Mark 16:16; Gal 3:27; Math 24:13). Emphasis added.
John 1:32-34 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
If there is one key aspect of the new testimony that Jesus Christ gave us that is essential to understand, it is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The word tells us that we ask but do not receive; the reason being is that most pray primarily for physical needs and wants.
Our ultimate and primary goal should be to pray for the infilling of the Spirit that unlocks the wonderful mysteries of Godliness.
The revelation of who Jesus is, and the knowledge to understand His word, only comes through the Spirit of Christ. This is the only way to a personal relationship, and a committed lasting walk with Him. To know of Him is only the first step; He desires to literally dwell in us. A great deception within Christianity is not allowing this transformation to take place, as this is when Christ takes pleasure in us (Rom 8:11; Eph 3:17; Rom 8:6).
Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Eph 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
This verse in Ephesians, it is a condensed version of the Christian journey unto salvation.
We hear the message of truth revealed to us in the gospel that shows the path unto Salvation.
Once we trust and truly believe the Word, we can be sealed by means of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, if we have submitted to his Lordship.
This infilling of the Spirit is a down payment on the purchased possession, as Jesus bought us through His shed blood.
The inheritance is when we are redeemed, and join Christ for all of eternity.
A great deception within Christianity is the Pretribulation Rapture
Another great deception within Christianity is not understanding the True Israel of God.
Hidden to most, but revealed throughout the Word of God, is the identity of the Great Whore. This too is a great deception within Christianity.

How long will you refuse to obey the LORD YOUR GOD and will you continue to teach people not to obey as well??
You keep railing on about deception within the church — PS; none of them including yours is God’s church.
Those that do not speak according the LAW and to the testimony — they are none of HIS!!!
Exactly what is that TESTIMONY??
Exodus 31:
18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, — two tables of testimony, — tables of stone, — written with the finger of God.
Exodus 40:
20 And he took and put the — testimony– into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark.
The Law is the Torah.
Destined2Blost
the legal TESTIMONY against man is written on two tables of stone — THE 10 COMMANDMENTS are the testimony against us — the commandment testify we are sinners worthy of death.
is there not one in your group that has eyes to see??? Are you all blind??
…Tradition leads to death…’spiritual death’…..
…Scripture lawyers, can’t understand that…for without their traditions, they have no object for their worship.
It is empty, and pointless.
Maxxy
the 10 commandments are not tradition — the Sabbath is not tradition, the Holy Feasts are not tradition.
washing of hands before eating is a tradition.. braided hair, wearing black hats and suits and beards are tradition
Do you not understand — the 10 Commandments that were written by the FINGER OF JESUS CHRIST –YOU — are calling empty and pointless — WOW you are blind to the Nth degree.
Amen to this article.
Good insights as to how to avoid trouble, but I myself had to figure out how to get out of trouble. That’s were the Cross of Christ broke my religious chains.

“Because very few are truly baptized with the Holy Spirit, the great deception within Christianity does indeed flourish. ”
Yes, but not for that reason, baptism is 100% an ancient pagan thing. A physical carrying out of a mental process to clear ones guilty conscience by literally washing the old you away. It’s practiced in many indigenous cultures, for example the native Americans build a special sweat lodge to sweat the old them out first, and then wash it away to become ‘reborn’. The biggest thing Christianity is guilty of, is plagiarism.
Add: You are using Baptism in the context of being anointed by your deity, which was never it’s original intent, not even in the bible. The bible makes it absolutely clear that baptism is exactly the same context as it always was, as a method to become a new person by washing the old you away. In Jesus’s case, it was washing his childhood/youth persona away, to become a preacher.
The flood of genesis represented a baptism of the earth, an expunging of evil, so the term does precede your pagan theories.
The next event is a baptism of fire. You don’t want to be around for this one.
