Crimson Streams
Preacher, teacher, holy one, chosen, anointed
Blessed of the Annunciation, the “Love” the Beloved
Baptised in flowing waters he had already sanctified
Speaking healing words, each heart’s longings satisfied
Nailed upon the wooden cross, that was once green
Crimson streams flowed in abundance, washing clean
A sacrament, an encounter, once offered, forever given
The Christ, born in time, crucified, died, now truly risen!
