Mary, Mother of Vocation
Hail Mary,
gentle mother,
inspirer of vocation,
strong in faith,
forged in the grace
of exquisite example,
who at the wedding in Cana
instructed each disciple
“Do whatever Jesus tells you”
Devotion to her is not fruitless
for it leads you, guides you,
helps you to discover her Son;
greeting her, the angel,
speaking holy words,
is greeted in turn
by the wisdom of submission,
the prayerful key to holiness.
“Be it done to me as you say”
encouraging a path,
revealing vocations way.
