Dads who simply shrug their shoulders, laugh about, or ignore the unsuitable clothes their daughters are wearing are shirking their responsibilities as the heads of their families (Ephesians 5:23). In today’s lewd and lascivious culture, training a youth in the way she should dress is too great a task for a mom to accomplish solo. Encouraging the modesty of the women in his household is just as important for a man as debating the weightiest issue taught in seminary or heeding the most profound sermon preached from a pulpit.
