An Interview With Environmental Activist Zoe Tryon

If you’ve followed along with our environmental stories here at Top Secret Writers, then you know that we’ve covered the ongoing court battles between the Ecuadorian people and Chevron, for the environmental tragedies caused by the company in that country years ago.

The battle has seen low points when U.S. judges have ruled against the Ecuadorian plantiffs, and other cases where anti-Chevron protesters and activists have had tremendous success as well.

To help support the cause of getting compensation and recovery for the people of Ecuador, we would like to support the efforts of one particular environmental activist known as Zoe Tryon.

Zoe grew up in England and studied anthropology at Manchester University, England and Sydney University, Australia. Once finished her studies, Zoe dove directly into the subject matter by traveling to actually live with the indigenous peoples in places like the Ecuadorian Amazon and the Andes, starting in 2006.
