A headline reads, “Is China trying to poison us and our pets?” The story then goes on to talk about how Chinese firms knowingly added toxins into foodstuffs which can threaten our lives and those whom we love.
It then talks about the fact that just last month 107 food imports from China as well as over 1000 dietary supplements, cosmetics and counterfeit medicine was confiscated. (2)
That article was sounding the alarm bells of hazardous Chinese food making its way into the US and world supply chains. Surprisingly enough, it was written on March 20, 2007 – exactly six years ago.
