How many times have we wanted to walk into our kitchen in the morning and say, “Computer, omelet”, and be presented with a hot, cheesy omelet?

Sounds like science fiction, right? Well, such technology may become a reality fairly soon. It seems that NASA is trying to replicate (no pun intended) the Star Trek technology through the use of 3-D printing in space.
