Nullarbor Plain, Australia : SOMETHING rather strange is going on at these locations

Hell’s gates should be horrible – a the door to the underworld, wherever eternal torment awaits. Doesn’t appear to be the type of place with a gay, red glitter door sign that says, “A attractive devil lives here,” and a mat. Well, not unless associate angel’s been there…

So what was my inspiration for the gloomy gates of Hell in Mel Goes to Hell? Ah, that’s wherever I take you back to the caves within the southern components of Australian state, that bear associate eerie likeness to Gustave Dore’s image of Hell’s gate in Dante’s The heroic poem.

Now, I haven’t had the chance to go to any of the Nullarbor caves, however I imagine the read from the lowest of the doline in previous Homestead or Weebubbie Caves may look a trifle like that from the lowest of Mammoth Cave.

Australians really take the cake for signposting the gate to Hell, though.
