Cincinnati, OH – The U.S. Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested fugitive Diondre Brandy on January 19, 2016 on an outstanding warrant from the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, Cincinnati, Ohio on a charge of Rape, Felonious Assault and Gross Sexual Imposition.

Brandy, 35, was wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the warrant was assigned to SOFAST and a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Detective. Brandy was indicted by a Hamilton County Grand Jury for allegedly raping and assaulting a mentally disabled adult victim in Cincinnati. SOFAST located and arrested Brandy on the Rape, Felonious Assault and Gross Sexual Imposition charge in the area of the 2000 block of Wilder Ave in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was taken into custody without incident. He is currently in custody in the Hamilton County Jail in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Cincinnati’s SOFAST is a fugitive focused, U.S. Marshals Service-led task force consisting of local, state, and federal authorities including the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Colerain Township Police Department, Newtown Police Department and Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
