Don’t let the fancy name fool you. This Beef Bourguignonne recipe is as easy to make as any family stew recipe.
I found this recipe tucked in my recipe box and although I think I made this years ago, I couldn’t even remember how it tasted. I thought I’d give it another try and it was a hit with my family. Chop up that bacon and cook it in a large pot. Remove the bacon and brown the coated beef in the bacon drippings. Add the bacon back to the cooked beef and add the beef broth, wine, tomato paste and spices. Cover and cook for one hour. Add the carrots and cook for another hour or more.
