August 26, 2012 INDONESIAA deep 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the arc in the Molucca Sea, WNW of Tobela Indonesia. The earthquake registered at a depth of 69.7 km (43.3 miles) below the seafloor. The epicenter of the earthquake was 169 km (105 miles) NNW (340°) from Ternate, Moluccas, Indonesia. A low tsunami reading was reported in the region of the Molucca Sea but no major warnings were issued. –The Extinction Protocol
