The impact on the environment caused by hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is heavily contested as natural gas companies continue to drill deep into the Earth to mine for resources. Now, however, research conducted by the British Columbia Oil and Gas Commission suggests that there are some serious repercussions being caused, namely hundreds of earthquakes.
