People living anywhere near to the Chilean coast line are at this moment streaming away to higher ground after a massive 8.2 magnitude earthquake, struck off northern Chile, 56 miles from the mining area of Iquique, triggering a major Tsunami Alert for Latin America's Pacific coastline. As the Chilean population attempts to reach higher ground there are already reports of 6 ft high waves smashing into parts of the Chilean coastline.
