I totally agree with the “main conclusion” of the Roberts Article that, “America (and mankind) face a grave war risk given the current trajectory of Washington.” (paraphrase) Why then would I take the time to disagree with his important analysis? 1) Because the conspiracy approach encourages the type of mob rule that has always led to the very war and genocide event Roberts and I seek to prevent. 2) Failure meet our responsibility to our own governance via “informed consent” means that lies are readily accepted and tolerated by the whole society. This responsibility cannot be rationalized away via the lazy thinking of conspiracy. Our first step has to be ownership and responsibility. We must find a direction to a better perspective in hopes that we get closer to the illusive truth instead of getting locked into inflexible conspiracy.
