http://www.euronews.com/ The world’s largest retailer, Wal-Mart, has mounted an investigation into alleged bribery.
It centres on what the American company calls a “few associates” at its joint venture in India, and possible violations of a US law which bans firms from paying bribes to win or retain business abroad.
Amid reports suggesting that the chief financial officer and members of the legal team had been suspended, Wal-Mart declined to give any details.
