(Before It's News)

Here's an interesting perspective on a couple of points.

A couple of things to contemplate.

  • Dorner is an ex-cop who is wanted in the murder of three people, including family members of those who he claims wronged him.  At the same time we hunt him and have a $1 million reward on his head our government murdered a 16 year old American citizen in a separate drone strike from the one that killed his (alleged terrorist) father.  There has never been any evidence presented that his son was a terrorist, and our own Constitution prohibits corruption of blood even via treason.

Perhaps this has something to do with my “shrug” response to what Dorner has allegedly done in California.  And perhaps Dorner is showing us all what happens when the rule of law is discarded by our leadership.  Our problem in this regard begins in the White House.

  • Congress has a problem with the destruction of the tax base.  I have harped on this for years, which is why Leverage spends so much time on reform of tax policy and immigration, along with the medical industry.  There is no way out of the box we're in today without addressing these issues, along with (in the longer run) energy.  But there is also no actual debate taking place on any of these issues.

In any event I think you'll find this worth the 15 minutes it will take to listen to — especially if you roll it around in your head for a while and let it sink in.
