“Coming up from what I think would be the (Pacific) ocean was a

by Linda Moulton Howe, Earthfiles:
August 19, 2015 Albuquerque, New Mexico – Recently in August 2015, in addition to the mysterious phenomenon of a Port Townsend, Washington, night sky flaring with sudden, silent and colorful explosion-like light (see 081415Earthfiles), there have also been light beam reports from ground to sky that last only a few seconds and are also without sound. The following are recent eyewitness descriptions to Earthfiles.com. We would like to hear from other eyewitnesses to such mysterious beams that are seen with the human eye and not associated with thunderstorms. The following beam and bright light flashes all occurred in clear night skies without weather.

Re: Beam of Light Seen from Marin County, CA
Date: August 18, 2015
Golden Gate National Recreation Area in Marin County, California,
is about 10 miles northwest of San Francisco.
Hi Linda….
I’m sharing this with you as I don’t know what else to do with this information. My husband woke me at 4:00 AM Pacific, early Sunday morning, August 16, 2015, and took me to our living room window, which looks out over the Parkland Hills toward the ocean above the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. I can’t see the ocean from my house, but it’s over the hill. We live on the northeast side of Mt. Tamalpais in Kentfield, Marin County, California.
So, coming up from what I think would be the (Pacific) ocean was a huge beam of light. It shot up into the sky fading as it went up, and must have been terribly bright for us to still see it so strongly from such a distance. The beam was striated….one beam with a stripe in it. It was at an angle slightly, maybe 10 degrees off of straight up. I can’t imagine what would have created it as there’s nothing out there. No homes, no city.
