The National Federation of Independent Business’s (NFIB) optimism index rose insignificantly in December after many stagnant months. The NFIB says the Index is stuck in a “below average” rut. The market was expecting the index between 93.6 to 96.0 with consensus at 95.0 – versus the actual at 95.2.
