ISIS gunman struck at a popular Canadian nightclub in Calgary on Saturday night.
Only quick work by two of the club’s bouncers saved countless lives.
One 38-year-old patron was shot and is in stable condition at the hospital after an ISIS gunman opened fire after bursting in the front door around 1:30 am.
According to one of the bouncers, Spencer Wallace:
“I hear a gunshot and I see a guy get shot in the chest and I watch a door explode and watch a nightclub go from perfectly calm to sheer panic in about 10 seconds….”
Two other ISIS folk were in a waiting car outside. One of them jumped out and tried to help the shooter as the two bar bouncers wrestled his gun from his hands on the sidewalk.
Fortunately, Calgary’s Gang Suppression team was close-by. They arrested the shooter and the driver of the vehicle right away, but the other man escaped.
Police arrested Mohamed Elmi, 31, and Mohamed Salad, 29, both of Calgary. Their weapon had an altered or defaced serial number.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good Day.
