The second estimate of third quarter 2016 Real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a positive 3.2 %. This is an increase from the advance estimate’s +2.9 % if one looks at quarter-over-quarter headline growth. Year-over-year growth also improved from the advance estimate. The major reason for the increase was improvement in consumer spending.
