Over 18 years, the average parent spends 15,000 hours on childcare, 8,000 hours cooking, 11,000 hours cleaning and a terrifying 6,000 hours on laundry.

  • I think it matters, whether she is a careerist, in her mind.

    While traditional gender roles are normal, healthy, and commendable, she will usually be as depicted, in the insensitive comics. A dutiful mother is worthy of praise, but she is usually a martyr.
