from Truth Blitz:
2017 is shaping up to be a great year for the Military Industrial Complex that President Eisenhower warned us about in his farewell address.
Iran is at it again with another provocative ballistic middle test despite Trumps numerous warnings.
How Trump will respond to this provocation is yet to be seen. If he does nothing he will look weak, but if he goes too far he could risk open conflict between the United States and Iran.
Things are also escalating in Syria. Several hundred U.S. Marines were just deployed and are now on the ground there to assist Kurdish led forces in the fight against ISIS. It is also being reported that 1000 more troops are on standby to be deployed to Kuwait to join the fight and are just waiting on the orders from the Trump administration.
In an interview with Chinese media, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said U.S. forces in Syria were “invaders”.
The Middle East is not the only region where the United States military has made moves that make countries uneasy.
The Chinese government is angry with South Korea and the U.S. after the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, or THAAD, which was deposited at the Osan Air Base in South Korea. The deployment of THAAD follows several recent ballistic missile tests by North Korea, including the launch of four missiles last Monday, three of which landed in the sea off the coast of Japan. China has been vocal about their opposition to the deployment of THAAD, citing that its radar will allow the United States to track missiles launched from China.
If the Chinese were upset when the THAAD was deployed, how will they feel when U.S. bombers arrive in South Korea? Military chiefs are reportedly planning to fly in B-1 and B-52 bombers to let Kim Jong-un know America has had enough.
The Trump administration has openly stated that all options “are on the table” including a military strike when it comes to Kim Jong-un and North Korea. Many believe the United States is closer to a new Korean War than we have ever been at any point and to make matters worse, U.S. China relations are weakening at a rapid pace.
Assad is not taking issue with US forces working with the Kurds to take back that part of Syria territory. He pretty much said if they want to work against Turkey to clean up that area and bring peace back he has no problem. Iran will see sanctions as the initial response to their provocation’s becoming increasingly severe for each additional infraction. Japan will probably take the lead on N. Korea and as for our monitoring of the China Sea they have been ongoing throughout China’s build out of their new island. With respect to China it’s a two staged approach, trade and keeping them out of Taiwan’s hair. Standing down on their new military island base allows us to back them off Taiwan and put pressure on Trade and currency devaluations. Meetings with Russia will be set up after Trump has finished his meeting with all the other Country’s who have dealings and or concerns with them. Then a well thought out compromise will be made with Putin that will insure stability so economic and business growth can begin in earnest for all concerned. It’s a time of restructuring and rebuilding. There is nothing left to strip down or destroy. If country’s don’t start rebuilding now…there won’t be enough left to rebuild for.
You’re certainly a lot more optimistic about the way that things are going to play out than I am ! My guess is that things aren’t going to go so well as you’ve described here (Especially with both the Chinese , who I seriously doubt will EVER give up the Spratly islands even with a Third World War, and North Korea with their bat shit CRAZY leadership) !!! I think that there’s a very real possibility that the Third World War COULD be not so far off if cooler heads don’t prevail and damn QUICK !!!
