Employed Americans are quitting their jobs at the fastest pace in 16 years, and recent data shows a substantial amount of confidence in the U.S. economy. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the quits rate rose to 2.2% and 3.2 million Americans left their jobs in January – up from 2.9 million in January of 2016.
