GoingOn Networks today announced that it has partnered with Central Washington University for the next session in its Academic TechnologyTrends Webinar Series. The 45-minute webinar is on Wednesday, September 26 at 2pm ET / 11am PT and will explore how an academic social network can be used to simplify communication and drive campus-wide engagement and informal learning. GoingOn launched the series last month in an effort to facilitate best practice sharing among higher education institutions around technology trends. GoingOn partners with colleges and universities implementing industry leading solutions to showcase their experiences and offer actionable insights to help others interested in deploying innovative technologies.
During the session, Dr. Tracy Pellett, Associate Provost at Central Washington University, will discuss his directive and path to deploying an institution-wide Academic Social Network. By explaining the drivers and goals behind CWU’s adoption of social tools, Dr. Pellett will provide insights into the emerging best practices for planning and implementing a network to connect faculty, students and administration. Dr. Pellett will also elaborate on how Central Washington’s “Wildcat Network” supports CWU’s mission to significantly impact student learning, engagement and success. Jon Corshen, CEO of GoingOn Networks, will moderate the webinar.
