You are applying for jobs, and as you know, your potential employer is going to research the heck out of you before the company spends the money to train you and employ you. There are a lot of things that an employer may count as a strike against you on Facebook: drinking and drug references or pictures, lewd photos or terminology, and racial and other ethnic slurs are the obvious. Like pages or join groups that represent a professional organization to which you belong or a charity to which you support. Another type of page an employer would like to see is one that lets them know you care about your reputation and how it reflects on others…like the company you could be working for!

Further, any photo that shows you winning an award, acting professionally or showcases your other prized traits (like thoughtful friend or loving family member) will generally be acceptable.
