The lies and evasions Alex uses only work because of his title.
Most members of the aristocracy are perfectly normal people and despite having titles cause little visible harm to others. But in this instance that cannot be said to be the case.
The tradition of creating and maintaining a category of individuals who are titled has also seeped into American culture in several forms. These are also, arguably, toxic, providing privileges not intended by Americans in their founding document, the Declaration of Independence.
Notice Hillary's continuous use of the title, “Secretary” as a title of honor instead of a description of her duties. This issue has not been raised for this election, but it should be in her case and in every other instance where it occurs.
This is a subject into which we will be inquiring further and suggesting solutions.
Our preliminary ideas include ending all titles, striking his title, changing his title to “Dolt of Manchester, with variations.
