Kristi Noem Accepts Two Additional Debate Invitations
Will Continue to Evaluate Invitations for Additional Debate Opportunities
Sioux Falls – The Kristi for Congress campaign announced today that it has accepted two additional debate invitations. In addition to the DakotaFest debate on August 22, Rep. Kristi Noem has agreed to participate in a debate sponsored by South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB), AARP of South Dakota and the South Dakota Newspaper Association (SDNA) on October 18, as well as another debate sponsored by KELOLAND Television on November 2. The Kristi for Congress campaign is still evaluating invitations it has received for additional debate opportunities.
“South Dakotans deserve the opportunity to see the stark differences between my opponent and me,” said Rep. Noem. “I have worked diligently on behalf of South Dakota on important issues like the Farm Bill, repealing and replacing the President’s healthcare law, and tackling our nation’s debt crisis. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss and debate the issues that matter most to South Dakotans.”
The SDPB/AARP/SDNA debate will take place on Thursday, October 18th at 8:00 pm CT. This debate will air live on SDPB Television and by tape delay on SDPB Radio. The second debate, sponsored by KELO Television, will air live on Friday, November 2 at 7:00 pm CT.
