Indianapolis, IN – (Sept 18, 2012) The Mourdock campaign today pointed out that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s (DSCC)’s attack ad distorts the Treasurer’s position, which is to preserve and protect Social Security and Medicare.

“Joe Donnelly and his Democrat team are again employing the typical Washington game of scaring seniors with misleading distortions. Their tactics are pitiful, and they underscore Joe Donnelly's unwillingness to run on his own record, which was to vote with President Obama. Richard Mourdock will honor our contract fully for folks 55 years and older and to enact reforms that will make these important programs available to future generations,” stated Mourdock Deputy Campaign Manager Brose McVey.

“Congressman Joe Donnelly, on three separate occasions, voted to gut Medicare by $716 billion to pay for ObamaCare, which allows a board of 15 unelected bureaucrats the ability to deny seniors health care. Now that ObamaCare is a reality, Hoosiers really need to be concerned.”
