Last year, the DCCC wrote in a memo to Illinois Democrats: “A critical part of the remapping process is altering the districts of incumbent Republicans to complicate their paths back to Washington.” It was clear that the ”center of gravity” in their bid to put Nancy Pelosi back in the Speaker’s chair was Illinois.
With less than 45 days remaining until Election Day, we have an opportunity to put an end to the DCCC’s dreams of regaining control of Congress.
To do so, we MUST work harder than ever to protect our incumbent Republicans- especially those that have been targeted by the DCCC.
Suburban Republicans Judy Biggert (11th congressional district), Bob Dold (10th congressional district), Bobby Schilling (17th congressional district), and Joe Walsh (8th congressional district) are all in hotly contested races that need our help NOW!
I am so grateful for all the help you have provided my campaign and ask that you continue to do so. I’m also asking you to do more. I strongly encourage you to contact one of the above campaigns and volunteer your time to help them during the final days of the 2012 general election.
We MUST do all we can to ensure that Nancy Pelosi does not return as the Speaker of the House.
