“TV Joe” desperately trying to be a Republican

VS

“DC Joe” who voted with Obama-Pelosi-Reid

Indianapolis (October 9, 2012) – The Mourdock campaign today released the following statement and fact check on Joe Donnelly’s latest misleading TV ad.

“Joe Donnelly continues to try to mislead Hoosiers, hoping that they will forget that he spent the last four years supporting the failed Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda,” stated Mourdock spokesman Christopher Conner.

“There really are two Joe Donnellys in this race – ‘TV Joe’ and ‘DC Joe.’ ‘TV Joe’ pretends to be a fiscal conservative, but the real ‘DC Joe’ has remained true to the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda by voting for ObamaCare, the massive failed stimulus plan, and the bailouts of Wall Street.”

“There is only one thing Hoosiers need to know: a vote for Joe Donnelly is a vote for Harry Reid, who doesn’t support a single policy in ‘TV Joe’s’ commercial,” added Conner.

Donnelly’s ratings from the National Taxpayers Union (NTU) & Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW):

                     NTU Score          CAGW Score

2008:          16%  (F)             13% (Hostile)
2009:          21%  (D)             10% (Hostile)
2010:          17%  (F)              13% (Hostile)
2011:          28%  (D)               22% (Hostile)
