Indianapolis, IN (October 1, 2012) – The Mourdock campaign will begin airing “Direction” ad on statewide television today. The ad underscores Donnelly’s support for the Obama-Pelosi-Reid liberal agenda versus Mourdock’s support for conservative Indiana principles.

“Joe Donnelly dodged the truth about his intentions of voting for Obama, which he recently confessed ‘yes’ to, but Donnelly can’t run from his record of supporting the liberal Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda: the $1 trillion ObamaCare, the $787 billion stimulus plan and the $700 billion bailout of Wall Street,” explained Mourdock spokesman Christopher Conner. “In contrast, Mourdock supports balanced budgets and keeping taxes low — as we have done in Indiana – and repealing ObamaCare.”

Last week, Richard Mourdock joined other Republican leaders to kick-off the statewide “Right Track Tour” and discussed Donnelly’s continued desire to take Indiana down a wrong track in the US Senate.

Recently, Donnelly has had trouble answering the question of whom he would vote to be Senate Majority Leader if elected, despite the fact that current Democrat Leader Harry Reid has spent millions in support of Donnelly’s campaign.

“Make no mistake, a vote for Joe Donnelly is a vote for Senator Harry Reid and his continued liberal agenda of increased government spending and higher taxes for Hoosiers,” stated Conner
