Polls Are Collapsing For Obama All Over The Place After The Debate
Both national and swing-state polls are beginning to tighten in the presidential race between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney. It’s a signal that an expected Romney bump is starting to take shape after his consensus win in the first presidential debate on Wednesday.
Polls that track both national and swing state voting have shown nothing but bad news for the president over the last couple of days.
Here’s a sampling of the national polls:
- Gallup: Romney is starting to close in on Obama, trailing by only 3 points in the seven-day rolling average. And that average only reflects two days of surveys post-debate, so the full effect won’t be known until next Wednesday.
- Rasmussen: Rasmussen has had wild swings and tends to be Republican-leaning this election, but Romney holds a 2-point advantage here.
- Reuters/Ipsos: Here, the race has tightened from a 6-point Obama lead pre-debate to only a 2-point lead on Friday. But Saturday didn’t provide any further bounce for Romney in the online survey.

The reaon that Romney did so unsexpectedly well in the debates was because of the false image of both that the Press has presented to the public. The MSM has raised Obama on a messianic platform while villianizing Romney. The reality is very different!! When Obama is not reading off a teleprompter in a speach that someone else has written for him, he is a subpar communicator. His speach is halting, and thoughts are rambling and disjointed. He also has little knowledge of things which he should be the expert on and an inability to think quickly on his feet.
By contrast, Romney is very focused and knowledgable about the subject matter. He does a fair job of reacting to changing circumstances in a debate and comes accross as confident and capable.
The MSM can hide this by editing, selective programing, and outright falsehoods. However, in a live televised head to head debate the distinction in abilities and intellect between the two candidates is glaringly obvious.
Agree or disagree with positions taken by Obama or Romney one cannot help notice that Obama is an empty suit, given shape with a false projection of him by the Press, and that Romney is the real deal!!

Rasmussen is not Republican leaning. Most of the polls have oversampled Democrats o the 2008 model. Barry doesn’t have that enthusiasm of the 2008 election.
