LABRIOLA COMMENTS ON ELECTION NIGHT RESULTS
HARTFORD—Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Jerry Labriola, Jr. released the following statement tonight on the results of today’s elections.
“Today we saw voters turn out in near record numbers and, while I am not satisfied with all of the results, I believe that speaks to the enduring strength of our American democracy.
“Across Connecticut spirited challenges finished closer than anyone had predicted, showing that an overwhelming number of voters responded to the Republican message delivered by our outstanding candidates.
“I remain confident in the resolve of the American people and I am confident that together we can work towards real solutions for the problems our nation faces.”
