Romney lost today to a guy who is overseeing a horrible economy, prosecuting unpopular wars, and who can barely string 5 words together without a teleprompter. This was the best the Republican Party can do. Not only are the Republicans evil, they’re evil and contemptible losers, which is far worse.
The biggest losers tonight are of course people who value peace and freedom, but we would have also lost if Romney won. The GOP is right up there in the loser category, however. The GOP lost seats in the Senate, and did little to improve its position in the House. It has served up two ridiculously bad nominees in a row, claiming “electability” and then going down in flames.
Rand Paul certainly came out of this looking very bad as well. He fell in line behind the party masters, banking on some advantage to be gained through an endorsement of Romney. He ended up just looking politically unsavvy and unprincipled. There is little to be gained either, from playing ball with a Party that as inept as the GOP at this point.

What contempt, and delivered from individuals whom actually believe there really was an Election by the people. And whom seem to think that the people are running these ‘parties’ and worse, they even imagine that there are two parties, not one group. So the author is unaware of the testimony before congress of the programmers who set up the voting machines to ‘vote their way’ for a price. Or the fact that it was Romney who got them put into so many states. And the author is obviously unaware, that it is the news media outlets that actually call the vote. And has been since around 1986 when they replaced the public’s independent News Voters Service.
@PointBreak, by your reasoning, that is the exact same line that can be applied to your behavior. “You quit. You are worthless. The sooner you go the better for all.” Do I need to know why you did or said such things? By your reasoning, no. I simply have to ‘feel’ that way. I don’t need to be privy to the back door payoffs, blackmail, and threats to your life and children (that poor CNBS CEO – both children stabbed to death)…I just see you quit, and therefore it MUST be ‘Your Fault’.
Ron Paul is a traitor, a coward and a quitter. Rand is even worse. They’ve laid waste to their names and their legacy. It’d be better for all of us now if they just went away. Especially Rand ‘Benedict Arnold’ Paul.
