What does it profit you to “stop Hillary” only to elect one of her most crass, unprincipled, liberal friends and financial backers?

The problem with pragmatism is not that it is wrong to give consideration to the likely practical results of a given action. The problem with pragmatism is that it is humanistic, and therefore short-sighted to the point of blindness, leaving out God and His infinite knowledge, understanding, and perspective, and truth, and principle, and morality, and our eternal standing before Him, from the calculations.

In the end, pragmatism will be proved to be eternally impractical.

It’s a first principle of nature: We reap what we sow, even if the crop doesn’t come in overnight.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” – Mark 8:36
