First, Trump supporters tried to tell us that Mr. Trump is a conservative. That didn’t pass the giggle test. So, their next move was to claim that Christians like Mike Pence would hold him accountable. Well, quite a while back, Mr. Pence became one of those who are literally applauding Trump’s continued public embrace of the homosexual agenda. So, that begs two questions: Why do they get so angry and defensive when we point out Trump’s lack of conservative principle and attempt to bring him to account? Does this mean that conservatism and accountability to principle wasn’t actually their goal in the first place? These are fair questions. By the way, I didn’t believe any of it at any point in the process described. I wasn’t born yesterday.
