At $4 per gallon, it will cost $32,000 to drive a 25 MPG car over its 200K mile lifetime!

If the vehicle only gets 15 MPG, it will cost over $53,000 to go the same distance.

More than the cost of many new vehicles!


An average electric vehicle however, will only need about $2,642 to drive it 200K miles. At 6 cents per kilowatt hour.
