“Dig In Me”P.J. aka Pastor Jones
TBGB last caught up with former Def Jam veep J.E. Jones in 2010, when he had released his gospel album, Fire.
You may know his story: after much success in the music business, Jones, 24, felt a tremendous void in his life. He gave his life to the Lord and today is senior pastor of Rejoice In The Word Church in Atlanta
His new single, “Dig In Me,” is part testimony, part prayer for God to forgive his past transgressions and “go real deep and find the pain that’s hurting me.” To a deliberate beat and a come-to-the-altar melody, Pastor Jones interacts firmly but gently with his background vocalists on healing and discipleship.
