The Psychedlic Furs

If you enjoy listening to bands like The Cure, The Cars, New Order, or Generation X than this band is for you. The Psychedlic Furs, are a new personal favorite band of mine. I found out about them while looking for concerts on http://www.thepageant.com/ to check out. I came across the Psychedlic Furs and fell in love. This band is an English New wave/post-punk band that started in 1977. The lead singer is Richard Butler and his brother by his side, Tim on the bass guitar. Even cooler is that John Hughes, the director of the amazing and classic 80′s movie Pretty in Pink, played their song Pretty in Pink in the movie. I’m really excited to see this band in concert. October 12 is when they are playing at The Pageant alongside with the Lemonheads, and Juliana Hatfield.
