Antenetta Benae’ Clark—known as Benae’—draws on current pop music for her single, “You.”
Written by Pierre Watkins, “You” is a song of praise and thanksgiving buoyed by bubbly beats, a feel good melody, and a wordless, sing-along hook.  If ever a song sounded happy just to be alive, it’s this one.
Benae’ is from Montgomery, Alabama and grew up, like many gospel artists, singing in her father’s church.  Her full-length album, which will include the single, is scheduled for release sometime early this year.
