Collection Edition Album Of Smoothe Da Hustlers Released

Smoothe Da Hustler releases his album on his classic hits which include songs from Once Upon A Time in America, Full time Hustle and other hits which are all time greats. Smoothe made his Brooklyn jumpoff as an aspiring MC and by appearing on underground mix tapes in New York and in 1995 released his classic song “Broken Language” an experiment in thug-life linguistics. This helped to influence a new style in MCing. Smoothe Da Hustler has shown his talent as an entertainer with both innovative and prolific in his art form and having enjoyed the company of Jay-Z and the notorious B.I.G. He is known for his ability for wordplay of wits and for depicting street life with a clear understanding for those on the other side.

Damon Smith being his true name, Smoothe Da Hustler signed with Profile Records in 1995 and with his debut in Broken Language, came into prominence as an American rapper and has always been known to belong to an elite squadron of Brooklyn greats. Smoothe has written for many artist, unsigned and signed. Appeared on the double platinum soundtrack “The Nutty Professor” starring Eddie Murphy. And also had written and appeared on the soundtrack for the movie “HE GOT GAME” starring Denzel Washington, penning the title track GAME FACE for legendary Chuck D from Public Enemy. In addition, Smoothe collaborated with rapper Ice T, Trigger Tha Gambler, AZ, Papoose, M.O.P., General DV, Shyne, Busta Rhymes, Kool G Rap, Bootcamp Click, Onyx, and continues to work alongside some or Hip hops elite artist.
